Aquarium Maintenance — Lexington, SC
Francois Neo · Your AquariumPartner
Enjoy your aquarium. Let us help with the upkeep.
Professional aquarium maintenance for homes and businesses in Lexington, Blythewood, Columbia and Gaston, South Carolina. Practical care built around your aquarium, its inhabitants and your routine.
Whether you keep a marine fish aquarium, a coral reef or a freshwater system, we help you establish a consistent maintenance routine and understand what your aquarium needs.
Care for the whole system
A clean display is only part of the job. We look at the aquarium as a complete system: water quality, livestock, filtration, equipment and the routine that keeps everything running.
Depending on your aquarium and the agreed scope, a visit may include:
- Water changes and routine water testing.
- Cleaning accessible viewing panels and removing accumulated debris.
- Cleaning filter socks, mechanical filtration and protein skimmer components.
- Checking pumps, circulation, lighting and other accessible equipment.
- Checking and refilling the freshwater top-off reservoir when included.
- Observing fish and corals and discussing changes in their condition.
- Reviewing feeding, dosing and the care needed between visits.
The work included, consumables and any additional services are agreed in your quote. Equipment replacement, major repairs and livestock purchases are discussed separately.
A routine that fits your aquarium
Residential aquariums
Support for aquarium owners who want consistent care, help with technical upkeep or a practical routine they can maintain between visits.
Commercial aquariums
Scheduled care for aquariums in offices and customer-facing spaces, with access and visit arrangements agreed around your business.
Regular care or a one-time visit
We can discuss recurring maintenance or an individual service visit. The recommended frequency depends on the aquarium's size, stocking, equipment and current condition, as well as what you handle yourself.
How it works
- Tell us about your aquarium. Send your location, approximate volume, aquarium type, photos and the help you need.
- Review the needs. We discuss the system, access and service expectations. An on-site assessment may be recommended before confirming the scope.
- Receive a tailored quote. We agree the work, frequency, pricing and any supplies before scheduling.
- Build a consistent routine. Visits focus on the agreed care, with practical guidance for the time between appointments.

Each aquarium is different. Pricing depends on system volume, equipment, condition, access, location, visit frequency and the work included. We provide a tailored quote rather than apply a single price to every system.
Frequently asked questions
Do you maintain aquariums you did not install?
Yes. We can review an existing setup and discuss a suitable maintenance plan after understanding its condition and equipment.
Do I still need to do anything between visits?
Yes. Feeding and day-to-day observation remain important. We agree what you handle between appointments, including any top-off checks or other routine tasks.
Can you help with algae or an unstable aquarium?
We can assess the system and discuss likely contributing factors. Some issues require testing, changes to the care routine or separate consulting work; a single cleaning visit may not resolve the cause.
Are supplies and replacement parts included?
Your quote specifies what is included. Additional products, replacement parts or work outside the agreed scope are discussed before proceeding.
