Our Story — AquaStudio Lexington
LEXINGTON, SOUTH CAROLINA · IN DEVELOPMENT
Built around aquariums. Shaped by experience.
AquaStudio is the next chapter of Francois Neo: a place where aquarium design, everyday reefkeeping and personal guidance come together.
From the Red Sea to Lexington
Born on the Red Sea and later based around Nice and Monaco, François Nollet developed a connection with the marine world long before making South Carolina home. Today, through AquariumPartners and Francois Neo, his work brings together aquarium consulting, maintenance, equipment and the practical challenges of keeping living systems healthy.
Why create a physical studio?
Some things are easier to understand when you can see them: the scale of an aquarium, the way light reaches a coral or how equipment fits into a complete system. AquaStudio is being developed to make those conversations possible in one welcoming place.
The ambition is a curated aquarium destination with thoughtful displays, useful advice and room for the local community to connect. A coffee counter and podcast corner are part of that vision, alongside the livestock and equipment.
Our approach
- Think in complete systems. Livestock, filtration, lighting and maintenance need to work together.
- Choose with a purpose. A focused selection should make decisions clearer.
- Keep learning. Better observation and understanding lead to better aquarium decisions.
- Build relationships. Support matters beyond the initial purchase.
Partners & collaborations
AquaStudio is taking shape through conversations with suppliers, aquarium professionals and the local community. We will introduce project partners here as their involvement is confirmed.
