Magnesium is an essential macro element that plays a critical role in regulating calcium and carbonate (alkalinity) balance in reef aquariums.

When magnesium levels are too low, calcium and carbonate bind together too quickly, leading to instability and poor coral growth.
When magnesium levels are excessively high, precipitation can occur, causing calcium and alkalinity to drop and creating a false impression of high consumption.

ASF Magnesium Booster allows precise and controlled adjustment of magnesium levels, improving overall reef stability and supporting healthy growth of corals and invertebrates.

The optimal magnesium range is 1200–1380 ppm.

Directions for Use
