MANTIS Four-Stage RO/DI — Prepare consistent aquarium water
A four-stage reverse-osmosis and deionization unit for aquarium source-water preparation. Its filtration sequence combines a sediment prefilter, carbon block, RO membrane and DI resin.
François Neo’s recommendation
I start with the source water. Measure the supply pressure and check output-water TDS regularly. Choose maintenance intervals around your water quality and actual production. A booster pump can be added when the installation requires additional feed pressure.
Filtration stages
- Sediment prefilter captures suspended particles.
- Carbon block protects the downstream filtration.
- Reverse-osmosis membrane reduces dissolved contaminants.
- DI resin polishes the product water.
Installation and use
The bracket-mounted format includes a pressure gauge for monitoring feed pressure. Plan access for cartridge replacement, product-water collection and the waste-water line. Actual production depends on feed pressure, temperature and source-water quality.
Use RO/DI water to prepare aquarium saltwater or replace evaporated water according to your aquarium’s requirements. Follow the supplied installation, flushing and maintenance instructions.
